QUETTA: At least 11 people died as torrential rain wrecked havoc in Balochistan. Floodwater swept away entire roads with it.
The roof of a house at Bakhar fell injuring three residents.
The met department has forecast more rain over the next three days in Makran division, parts of Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA and Kashmir.
The provincial capital Quetta received 34 mm rainfall during the recent spell, the Met Office said on Friday.
The met office recorded 37mm of rainfall in Khuzdar, 36mm in Kalat, 24mm in Barkhan, 23 in Dalbandin, and 22mm in Sibi and Zhob respectively.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority has warned of flash floods in Balochistan. In a statement issued here on Friday the PDMA said that heavy rains are expected during next two to three days which would cause flash floods in storm water nullahs.
The PDMA has informed all divisional commissioners and deputy commissioners to make arrangements to tackle any emergency like situation.

The country has been under a grip of torrential rains for the past week.
Roof collapses in Tank
At least one person was killed while four other critically injured when a house collapsed in Tank on Friday.
According to police Naeem Ullah was killed while Zota Rafi Ullah Aadil and Said Rehman of the same family sustained severe injuries. Locals rescued the injured and shifted them to DHQ Hospital Tank.
Rain forecast in KPK
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has warned of torrential rains and flash floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday as an active weather system presently causing rains over Balochistan is heading towards Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has asked the concerned to take necessary measures to avoid loss of life and damage to property in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to likely flash floods.

Heavy down pours are expected over upper parts of KP including Malakand Hazara Peshawar Mardan and Kohat divisions that may trigger flash floods in vulnerable areas of the province.
